Puhtaat

Terms

Company terms

These terms apply to cleaning companies using Puhtaat to receive quote requests and submit quotes.

Version 1.4 · updated 30.8.2026

1. Scope and role of the service

Puhtaat is a cleaning-service quote and brokerage marketplace operated by Keikkanet Oy. Keikkanet is not a party to the cleaning service, customer, employer or company representative. The service contract is between the company and the customer selecting its quote.

The person accepting these terms must be authorised to represent the company. The company is responsible for required registrations, permits, insurance and professional competence.

2. Company account and details

The company signs in with a personal account and provides its official identity, contact and geographical address, services, service areas, billing details and profile. It is responsible for accuracy, updates and account security. Access must not be transferred; suspected abuse or access changes must be reported promptly.

3. Visibility and ranking of requests

Open requests matching the company’s services and area are shown. Exact-area requests are ordered by deadline and creation time; nearby requests primarily by estimated distance and then deadline. Fees and payment history do not improve ranking. Customer-facing quotes are ordered only by total price, from lowest to highest. Reviews, contents and schedule aid comparison but do not affect ranking. The customer chooses, and Keikkanet does not guarantee request or selection volume.

4. Customer data and company access

Before selection, the company receives only property and work details needed for a quote. For one-off work, the customer’s identity and contacts are disclosed after selection; for recurring work, only after company acceptance. The data may be used for the selected work, legal duties and agreed communication—not direct marketing without a proper basis.

Access ends with the service relationship, while the company may retain data needed for contracts or law. Keikkanet and technical processors access data for operations, support, security, billing and legal duties, retain data lawfully and may use anonymised aggregate data.

5. Quote contents and binding effect

The company may submit one feasible quote during the open period. A one-off quote binds the company until the selection deadline. A recurring quote is a proposal that states a recurring weekday and time, exact first visit, price per visit and any separate first-visit price; a customer selection requires company acceptance within 48 hours.

6. Customer selection and performance

A one-off selection immediately forms a binding service contract. For recurring cleaning, the company must accept or decline the selection within 48 hours, and customer contact details open only on acceptance. The company may record same-day or future changes to recurring terms only after agreeing them directly with the customer, and it records ordinary termination in Puhtaat.

The company is responsible for statutory pre-contract information, distance-selling withdrawal rights, safety, quality, defects, delay, damage, invoicing, receipts and tax. Puhtaat records an express early-start request and consent where needed and forwards statutory withdrawal notices.

7. Service fee to Keikkanet

For one-off services, the fee arises only after work is marked complete and is 8% of the customer total. For recurring contracts, the company reports monthly completed visits and the actual customer billing including VAT and mandatory costs, also confirming zero months. The recurring fee is 6% of the reported total. Reports can be corrected until Keikkanet marks them invoiced, after which they are locked.

Both fees include VAT on Keikkanet Oy’s invoice. The customer pays the company directly. Invoice objections must be sent by the stated deadline to tuki@puhtaat.fi.

8. Distribution channels

Requests and quotes are displayed in Puhtaat and may generate service emails. They are not currently distributed through partner or affiliated channels. Material effects of a new channel will be explained before launch under the applicable change process.

9. Equal treatment and other sales channels

Keikkanet does not offer its own cleaning service in Puhtaat or favour affiliated services. Extra purchases are not required for visibility or quoting. Companies may sell through other channels at different prices or terms; there is no price parity or exclusivity obligation.

10. Prohibited conduct

A company must not provide misleading identity, price or service information; add mandatory charges above the total price; misuse customer data; disrupt or circumvent the service; or publish unlawful or rights-infringing content.

11. Reviews

Customers may review completed work. Keikkanet may moderate reviews, disclose their source and allow company responses. Appropriate negative feedback is not by itself grounds for removal. Clearly inaccurate, personal-data-containing or unlawful reviews may be reported for review.

12. Suspension and termination

Keikkanet may restrict or suspend access for inaccurate details, breach of terms or law, materially overdue invoices, safety or service risk, abuse or authority requirements, taking seriousness and repetition into account. Reasons and effective date are provided in a durable form where required, with immediate action possible for illegality, safety, fraud or binding orders.

Where platform regulation requires it, full termination is normally notified with reasons at least 30 days in advance, subject to legal, urgent-risk and repeated-breach exceptions. A company may request closure by email; existing contractual, payment and legal duties remain.

13. Changes to terms and service

Material changes are normally notified in a durable form at least 15 days before effect where platform regulation requires, with longer time for necessary technical or commercial adaptation. Legal, authority, security or abuse needs may justify shorter notice. Submitted quotes normally remain under the terms in force when submitted. The company may terminate before a change takes effect and may waive notice only expressly in writing where lawful.

14. Company complaints

Complaints about operation, restrictions, suspension, terms, billing or technical issues can be sent free of charge to tuki@puhtaat.fi. Keikkanet responds within a reasonable time with the outcome and principal reasons.

15. Liability, governing law and disputes

Each party is liable for direct damage it causes under applicable law. Keikkanet is not responsible for performance of the customer-company contract, lost work or indirect damage unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Finnish law applies; disputes should first be negotiated and otherwise resolved in a competent Finnish court.
